Research And Development Engineer

Role Description:

This full-time, on-site position as an R&D Chemist is based in our Tiruchirappalli subsidiary in India. You will be responsible for fabricating new products and improving existing ones by conducting research, developing prototypes, and analysing data. You will also need to conduct related patent and literature analysis. You will work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to ensure that products meet customer needs and company standards.

Responsibilities

· Organic synthesis of new compounds that contribute to semiconducting industry.

· Lead the design and execution of experiments to explore novel synthetic routes and optimize chemical processes.

· Ensure proper documentation and presentation of experiments, and product characterization results.

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop groundbreaking models and products.

· Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and protocols.

Qualifications

· Ph.D. or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related fields

· Experience in research and development, with a focus on product design, materials, and manufacturing processes.

· Experience to operate instruments such as GC-MS, XRD, FTIR, TGA, etc.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Experience with semiconductor fields including wafer development, chip fabrications, etc. is a plus.

· Experience with computational theoretical knowledge is a plus.
