Reporting to the Right-of-Way Department Head, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following:
a. Scope of Work
Drafting of complaints, judicial affidavits, notices to take possession, and other urgent pleadings
Drafting and/or review of Deeds of Absolute Sale (DOAS), ROW Grants, Contracts to Sell, ROW Nego Cards, Quitclaims, joint affidavits of barangay officials or disinterested persons, and other legal documents/ instruments pertaining to the acquisition of land and land rights
Drafting of Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) and other contracts and deeds of conveyances
Drafting of memoranda for Management approval, letters and other correspondence
Preparation, monitoring and updating of the status report of expropriation cases;
Legal pass on land and land rights documents
Rendering of assistance to project team and other legal services as required.
Requirements:
b. Qualification Standards
Graduate of any 4-year course
MUST At least an incoming second year law student of a reputable school/ with Juris Doctor Degree
c. Licenses and Certifications

d. Competency Requirements
Proficient in basic laws (i.e., Rules of Court, land titles and deeds, contracts, property relations, legal writing)
Working knowledge of standard legal documents
Proficient in speaking and writing in English
Good attention to detail• Good time-management skills

Ability to do field work, if necessary
