Civil Structural Drafter (Onsite)

About the Opportunity:

This position requires exceptional engineering knowledge with primary focus on pre-cast concrete panels in line with current Australian standards.

Attributes & Skills:

Must have experience/knowledge in Pre-cast.

Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and listening skills

Some experience with manufacturing /construction would be ideal.

Have strong teamwork skills, a positive ‘mindset’ and a consultative approach.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Design

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is essential, and knowledge of TEKLA is preferred.

Able to work in Tekla precast concrete structures.

A deep understanding of precast shop drawings and detailing

Preferably 2-3 years of experience with Tekla software working on precast building and residential projects.

Experience in reviewing architectural and structural plans, deciphering needs for precast concrete components, and perform QA/QC.

Ability to spend time checking shop drawings/tickets and precast concrete erection drawings.

As this is an office based set up, the candidates should be willing to commute or relocate near the office. (BGC Taguig, Mon to Fri)

Position Specific Responsibilities:

Will be working on Residential, Industrial, and commercial precast structure projects.

Create 3D models and shop drawings using TEKLA software.

Study Structural and Architectural drawings and prepare RFIs.

Ensure all modelling activities are performed per company procedure and process.

Ensure thorough self-check before submissions while modelling.
