Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in reviewing field financial data for accuracy and completeness and generate issue analysis reporting after conducting analytical review procedures
Support in providing training and setting-up of financial systems in field offices.
Monitoring spending to ensure compliance with the budget and to prevent overspending and underspending
Gather and check information and analyse trends of reported issue to suggest improvements
Comply with any in-country audit requirements and support HQ Finance in the annual organizational audit
Provide confirmation letter upon request of external audit report review
Assist in reviewing updated overall IC Policy with GPC policies and procedures, generate issue analysis reporting after the review and provide analysis support when creating a global IC policy
Respond to major ERP technical or business process issues faced by program countries
Support the functional, technical and change management related to QuickBooks
Support the accounting processing method
Performs other tasks assigned by the Country Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree graduate of Financial or Business discipline such as Accounting, Finance, Management, Public Administration or any related field.
Preference will be given to a Certified Public Accountant (CPA passer)
At least 3 years’ experience using the QuickBooks system
At least 5 years of valuable experience in Accounting, Business Analysis and Systems and Audit Control Evaluation in an international setting.
Preferably with experience working for an international non-government organization.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures
Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel
Able to travel to field sites to monitor finances
Excellent verbal and written English
