(1) Operate imaging equipment and other devices as appropriate,

(2) Position patients and provide mobilization as necessary,

(3) Determine or calculate exposure factors, process films and evaluate radiograph for technical quality,

(4) Receives patient’s examination request, explain method of procedures, instruct and prepares patients for radiographic and or fluoroscopic examinations.

> Operates conventional and special equipment for the purpose of performing x-ray examinations.

> Operates the portable C-arm machine inside the Operating Room.

> Assesses patient’s understanding of process and informed consent of invasive procedures.

> Determines most suitable anatomical posture, positions and shields patients accordingly.

> Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.

> Gathers record of previous examination or medical history.

> Must be acquainted with local fire and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

(1)Graduate of BS- Radiologic Technologist

(2)Must be a licensed Radiologic Technologist

(3)Preferably with at least 1 year related experience; new passers are welcome to apply

(4)Knowledgeable in performing imaging procedures

(5)Has excellent communication skills in dealing with patients & health professionals

(6)Can work with minimal supervision; organized and has high attention to details
