Machine Technician/Electrician

Description of Business: Gourmet Food Manufacturing Corporation (GFMC) has been in the food manufacturing business since 1972. Our product line is sauces and condiments. Our company is located at 319 Sto. Rosario St. Plainview, Mandaluyong City near Mandaluyong Medical Hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates with Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently.

Inspects buildings, equipment, and system to identify any issues.

Repairs faulty equipment units and damages structures.

Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment.

Responds to emergency situations during and after working hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns.

Diagnoses problems, replace or repairs parts, test, and make adjustment.

Assists in performing machine calibrations on many machines type and parts to achieve optimal machine performance and functionality.

Assists in the design and implementation of special projects for operational efficiency improvement.

Leads continuous improvement process to improve machine uptime and reduce machine breakdowns.

Conducts periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.

Ensures to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies, and parts to accurate repair of all equipment.

Ensures to keep cleanliness at shop and storage areas as well as well-stocked.

Ensures compliance with quality, health and safety rules, guidelines, and regulations.

Performs other duties/tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: At least High School graduate or Graduate of Tech-Voc.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: With at least one year relevant working experience in facilities and maintenance technical works.
