Dental Assistant

Pay rate:$18- $24/ hour based on experience and qualifications.

Children's Dental Health has an immediate opening for a Dental Assistant to join our close-knit teamin our Warrington/Plymouth Meetinglocation(s).

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

Schedule - Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm & Friday 8:00 am -4:00 pm. This position will rotate between the Plymouth Meeting and Warrington, PA locations.

What You Will Do:

Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment

Ensures consents, notes, and patient records are accurately maintained

Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients based on specific patient needs and according to dentists orders

Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer

Delivers instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access

What You Will Need:

At least one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant OR completion of a Dental Assisting program

Radiology Certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)

CPR Certification

Demonstrated desire to work with children in a pediatric setting
