Come help the Ohio Department of Development transform communities through real estate investment and redevelopment.

We are looking for a Business Incentives Administrator who will be responsible for the implementation and administration of the Ohio Transformational Mixed-Use Development program, which provides assistance to projects with significant economic impact in their communities.

Some of the things you'll do...

* Provide financial, technical and administrative assistance for policy, planning, design and implementation of redevelopment programs including Transformational Mixed-Use Development Program to ensure adherence to established program guidelines and compliance with legislation, regulations and policies.

* Review tax credit and grant related documents (e.g., financial records, progress reports) * Oversee administration of award cycles, including all aspects of soliciting applications * Rank applications and lead scoring review team to make recommendations to division and agency leadership * Oversee administration of tax credit and grant awards and award management process from award to certification/close-out * Provide information or recommendations to awardees (e.g., requirements and conditions, assuring that project expenditures are appropriate and necessary) * Make budget revisions or program modifications that may require prior approval * Review and approve awardee reports such as reviewable progress reports or program status reports * Provide technical assistance to prospective awardees (e.g., scoring requirements, reporting requirements, application submission requirements) * Coordinate with program partners at Ohio Department of Taxation, Ohio Department of Insurance and State Historic Preservation Office.

* Bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, city and regional planning, business administration, political science or related area.

OR Equivalent work experience.

* Real estate development experience helpful.

* Experience in program and/or project administration.

* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills with experience dealing with many types of people at various levels.

* Computer proficiency with experience using word processing, spreadsheet and database software required.

* Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various sites around Ohio.
