This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, twelve months per year.

Essential Job Duties Office of the Dean, College of Arts and Sciences * Provide administrative support to the office of the College of Arts & Sciences, pertaining to any needed administrative tasks, including but not limited to; the weekly A&S newsletter, as well as filling in when the administrative assistant to the Dean is absent or on leave.

* Prepare correspondence, reports, and other communication items.

As needed, create and maintain spreadsheets, charts, tables, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

* Assist in the coordination of and preparation for projects and events.

* 3D printing summer camps and Friday night events (2 per month each semester) * Registration * Publicity (creating and distributing flyers) * Fundraising * Management of 3D printing student workers * Community liaison for Make:Able projects * Identification of potential donors * Identification of potential people who could be helped by the projects * Correspondence with community partners (Therapy and Learning Center, Star Center) * Purchases of equipment related to 3D printing and Make:Able * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Departments of CSC, EGR, MAT, PHY.

* Provide clerical support for the Department Chairs and, secondarily, for other faculty and staff.

This includes making copies, writing correspondences, collecting course syllabi, compiling information for end-of-the-year statistics and annual reports, coordinating student ensemble travel, and communicating with students, faculty, members of the department, and other employees and departments within the University.

* Greet and ensure positive interactions with students, visitors, faculty, and staff.

Handle phone calls and redirect as necessary.

* Assist in the coordination of and preparation for departmental events.

* Assist with academic and administrative forms (purchase order requisitions, mileage, drop/add slips, grade change, course overload, incomplete grade, etc.) * Create and distribute forms needed for student and faculty evaluations and compile results for appropriate distribution.

* Assist with administrative accreditation tasks for the Department of Engineering.

* Administer the Calculus Readiness Test for students wishing to test out of pre-calculus.

This includes uploading and operating the test via Moodle rooms in the summer and winter sessions, compiling student scores for math faculty, and keeping close contact with those students enrolled.

* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Other Job Duties Required Qualifications Graduation from high school or the equivalent is required.

This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, practical knowledge of computers and competency in the use of MS Word and Excel, and excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with faculty, students, staff, and visitors.

Also required is the ability to follow directions with minimum guidelines and supervision.

Preferred Qualifications An Associates Degree or higher and previous secretarial experience is preferred.
