As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Representing our clients in all stages of insurance defense litigation, from initial case evaluation to trial, settlement, and appeals.

2. Handling a diverse caseload involving various types of premises liability defense cases, including slip and fall accidents, negligent security claims, and construction accidents.

3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and preparing responses to opposing counsel.

4. Conducting depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

5. Performing legal research and analysis, and developing litigation strategies.

Job Details

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

1. An active membership in the Virginia Bar for at least 5 years.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on premises liability defense.

3. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

4. Excellent litigation skills, including experience in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

5. Strong legal research and writing skills.
