BLACK WALNUT CAFE is seeking high energy, reliable and hard working Cashiers. Our Cashiers averedg $18-$20 /hr. We also offer great benefits such as $2 meals, medical, dental and vision benefits for FULL time positions. We are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we are busy during all three parts of the day. Check out some of our menu offerings: We are seeking AM & PM, Full Time positions and You must be able to work weekends. Our team is flexible and happy to work around your school schedules.

This position requires the availability to work weekends and varying shifts throughout the week.

Cashier/Bartender Responsibilities:

Welcoming customers, answering their questions, seating customers, and providing advice or recommendations.

Operating cash registers, and other electronics.

Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.

Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.

Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.

Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport.

Following all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol.

Maintaining a clean work space.

Cashier Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Customer service or Cashier experience.

Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.

High level of energy with strong customer service skills.

Basic math and computer skills.

Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service.

Attention to detail.

Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.Company Description
