Derek A. Reams, PLLC d/b/a Q Auto Injury and Medical Malpractice Attorneys are seeking experienced Litigation Attorneys specializing in Medical Malpractice. We are expanding our Medical Malpractice Department in Bradenton, Florida. You will be managing all aspects of the clients case from inception through trial. With over 40 years in practice, our firm has established a successful foundation and market presence with our clients throughout Florida. Our success is driven by the expertise of our Attorneys specializing in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice.

Based on experience, this position yields a base salary of $90,000 – $125,000 and commission

earnings up to $250,000.

Excellent Health Insurance Benefits paid at 100% in addition to other benefits offered by the firm.

The Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of Medical Malpractice cases

Managing all aspects of a Medical Malpractice case from inception through trial including, providing a legal analysis and advice to active and potential clients

Preparing, managing and completing pre-suit notice requirements

Coordinate and work with medical malpractice experts

Filing lawsuits, pleadings, motions and documents necessary for litigation

Preparing for and conducting hearings, jury trials, mediations and non-binding arbitrations

Communications with claims representatives, opposing counsel and judges office

Professional and highly assertive representation of client in personal injury cases

Qualifications:

Plaintiff or Defense experience in Medical Malpractice

Licensed in the state of Florida

An active member and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Medical Malpractice litigation experience 3+ years

Exceptional writing and communication skill-set

Driven by long-term career goals

Comprehensive compensation package based on experience. Health insurance benefits are provided at 100% after the successful completion of a 90-day introductory period.

Sign on Bonus and/or Relocation package will be based on experience.Company Description
