Revenue Accountant

The Revenue Accounting Analyst is responsible for cash management including tracking and reconciling our bank accounts. The team is responsible for monitoring and continuously completing the tenant chargeback process, processing routine and ad-hoc PAD’s and working with members throughout the organization to investigate and resolve Tenant AR issues.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and reconcile monthly Bank Reconciliation ensuring internal controls are adhered to;

Monitor the tenant chargeback process, reviewing Nexus and coordinating billings with the Property Management team;

Produce specialized chargeback reporting for large national tenants, corresponding as required with key partners to provide timely and accurate support;

Partner with key stakeholders to review and investigate tenant account issues and bank balances;

Process rent roll for preauthorized debits and ad-hoc requests throughout the month based on business needs;

Complete quarterly journal entries related to cash as required for Corporate reporting;

Work closely with Property Accounting, Property Management, Corporate Accounting and other departments to ensure constant communication and mutual support. Establish and preserve proper maintenance of files and documents;

Assistance with ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience within an accounts receivable, accounts payable or cash management role, preferably with a mid to large size organization;

Experience with J.D. Edwards system an asset;

Intermediate Excel knowledge;

Strong interpersonal communication skills;

Self-starter with ability to maintain and track deliverables to a deadline;

Accounting degree considered an asset.
