COMPENSATIONHourly Minimum - Maximum

$27.00 - $34.00

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Screen potential applicants to match job requirements and conduct phone interviews.

Schedule interviews and pre-employment tests with applicants.

Process all employment applications approved by the Recruitment Specialist to be hired through the Workday workflow. Processing will include extension of job offer, submission and receipt of background checks and employment verifications, and coordination of drug test and pre-placement physicals within a timely manner.

Provide results of background checks, drug tests, and pre-placement physicals to the Recruitment Specialist for review and confirmation of job offer.

Administer recruitment bonuses for new hires and referrals.

Prepare new hire paperwork and New Employee Orientation materials for new hires. Ensure all onboarding paperwork is up-to-date and prepare electronic forms for signature as required.

Assist with setting up for New Employee Orientation.

Electronically file new hire onboarding documents for employees.

Review and submit invoices for background checks, drug tests, and physicals for payment to HR management.

Maintain good communication and relationship with Occupational Clinics and Background Check companies.

Provide Technology Services the technology requirements of new employee.

Provide candidate updates to hiring supervisor.

Coordinate reporting instruction of new hire for first day of employment.

Assist with front office coverage as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual in Chinese is required.

One year of Human Resources related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Proficient in social media platforms, such as Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, to source for candidates.

Proficient knowledge of Human Resource practices and procedures with particular emphasis in the employee benefits area preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to handle difficult situations with no supervision.

Ability to work well and contribute to a team environment.

Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Must be a self-starter and have a strong work ethic.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality of employee information and records.

Ability to multi-task.

Must be able to promptly respond to requests and inquiries from employees and the general public.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Must be able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work.

Valid California Driver’s License.

DRUG TESTING POLICY

Prior to beginning employment, all job applicants who receive a job offer will be required to voluntarily submit to a drug screening test conducted by a laboratory designated by Forest Lawn. The drug screening method is a hair collection test that will detect the use of illegal drugs within the past 90 days. A positive drug test may result in the withdrawal of the job offer.

E-VERIFY STATEMENT

Forest Lawn has registered to participate in the federal government's E-Verify program. With E-Verify we are able to confirm the employment authorization of all newly hired employees through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security. With respect to new hires, the E-Verify process is completed in conjunction with a new hire's completion of the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification upon commencement of employment.
