Legal Assistant

Nonprofit social justice organization seeks a temp to perm Legal Assistant to provide administrative and legal support.

Responsibilities:

Review and edit documents, presentations, and training materials.

Assist with research efforts, such as organizing publications and assisting with peer review.

Support the execution of internal projects, such as training events and grant solicitations.

Provide technical assistance to the senior leadership team.

Maintain social media accounts.

Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines effectively.

Ability to exercise good judgment given minimal direction.

Highly organized and attentive to detail.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Strong computer skills.

Familiar with basic office equipment.

Requirements:

Prior experience in the legal field is helpful.

Rate: $22.00 per hour while temping.

Salary: $55,000 per year once permanent.
