Logistics Specialist

with FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE

Position: Logistics Specialist

Location: Uxbridge, ON

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience)

Industry: Manufacturing / Shipping / Warehouse

Employment Term: Full Time/Permanent

Responsibilities:

Assembling pallets of materials to be shipped out.

Sorting materials on arrival back, and distributing to various areas in the shop.

Loading & unloading trucks with electric pallet trucks or forklifts.

Processing of Waybills, shipping documents, and international shipment paperwork.

Creating POs in the company’s system.

Following up with vendors on the status of work.

Assisting the Shipping Coordinator in processing shipments.

Other duties as they arise.

Requirements & Skills:

3-5 years of related shipping & receiving experience.

Experience with Waybills and other shipping documents.

Hands-on experience with ERP System such as SAGE.

Experience handling domestic and international shipping.

Good at Microsoft Office and Windows operation system.

Counterbalance forklift experience.

Crane experience an asset/will train.
