C.H. Robinson is seeking a Treasury Manager to assist in the analysis and implementation of cash management, cash flow forecasting, capital, and liquidity best practices across a global organization. In this role, you will analyze foreign currency exposures, cash forecasts, and coordinate integration projects across our worldwide financial operations. This position follows a hybrid work model, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home at our Eden Prairie, MN location.

Responsibilities:

Prepare or approve cash position and corresponding payments for the day while managing the global repatriation process to ensure efficient fund allocation across the organization Partner with global finance team to implement global banking, cash pooling, and treasury management system integrations

Collaborate with Accounting to create and maintain analytics for aging receivables, payables, cash analysis, and forecasting

Identify and implement system enhancements and process improvements to streamline cash management and receivables/payables processes, increase efficiencies, and accuracy, and better leverage currently available banking services

Lead finance teams in creating cash forecasting models to support global liquidity planning

Analyze and execute risk management, hedge effectiveness, and FX trading

Craft strategic financial presentations for Quarterly Board meetings and Annual Rating Agency presentations Generate analysis and recommendations for capital allocation strategy (dividends, share repurchase, subsidiary capital contributions, and inter-company borrowing)

Build and develop strategic partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., finance partners, leadership, banks, and technology vendors)

Stay abreast of changes in the Treasury landscape and implement new processes and technologies where appropriate

Provide work direction to junior-level employees on projects and initiatives

Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to team and/or country-specific requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management

Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role requiring conceptual thinking, data analysis, financial modeling, fact-based conclusions, and recommendations for complex business cases

Ability to travel up to 5% (domestically and internationally)

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Treasury position

Experience with treasury or financial systems integration

Experience with capital markets analysis activities and cash flow forecasting in an internationally diverse finance environment

Project management skills

Experience with ERP systems and data analytics from ERP systems using Excel add-ins such as Hyperion Smart View

Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

CTP (Certified Financial Professional)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Critical thinking ability: independently identify problems, propose solutions, and execute

Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives while taking accountability for work product

Self-motivated and thrives in an autonomous environment

Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
