Entry Level- CNC Operator

Shift: 2nd shift 3:30pm â 2:00am Monday â Thursday
Pay $15.00 - $17.00
Summary
Set up for design and fabrication of workpieces. Operate numerical control machine to cut, shape, or form workpieces to specifications.
Duties
Prepare for job by reviewing work orders, blueprints, sketches or drawings to ensure that complete and accurate information is presented.
Identify and stage raw materials and select the optimum tools required for job production.
Program tool path through use of AutoCad DXF drawings as furnished.
Set up and clamp workpiece through the configuration of tooling and machine parts, as directed.
Set up for flex faces and cut vinyl as directed.
Optimize machining through operation of local controls of CNC router and knife cutter and digitize; program optimum feeds, home and offsets.
Design and fabricate holding fixtures.
Ensure files or programs remain intact through daily backup of files.
Perform daily maintenance on machines or equipment and notify supervisor of any maintenance issues.
Ensure that machines, equipment and tools remain in good working order by performing daily preventive maintenance, regular and consistent inspection and repair; completing checklists as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of CNC Machine Operator experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Basic computer skills and experience with AutoCad and Inspire and Tool Path software.
