At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you’ll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

Position Overview:

Our customers are internal and external business partners, and we provide support to our partners by addressing delinquent loan transaction issues related to loss mitigation workouts, credit loss, non-compliance and escalations. We assist in reconciling inventory of non-performing loans; identify trends and issues around aged inventory; and recommend and create effective strategies and solutions to resolve said issues that ultimately strengthen overall Servicer/Investor relations.

Our Impact:

Our team is responsible for many functions and our impact is critical to Non-Performing Loan Operations. We provide assistance to internal/external customers on complex issues, escalations, and loss mitigation workout decisions.

In addition, we conduct Servicer conference calls to discuss performance, successes and challenges, and strategy that will assist in overall performance improvements and help to strengthen working relationships. We review and recommend tools that support improving workflow and process inefficiencies, and provide continuous analysis and oversight of internal/external workflows and systems to support operational efficiency; analyze and research Servicer performance trends (aging, defects, volume, etc..) and systems impact, and provide dashboards/status reports to management for insight and up-to-date activity and progress.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of our organization and be expected to collaborate with internal and external business partners to address/resolve delinquency and escalations; manage assigned Servicer non-performing loans portfolio(s) and review and decision exception-based loss mitigation workouts.

Qualifications:

5-7 years related experience

College degree or equivalent experience preferred and familiarity with commonly used software packages required

Servicing knowledge and experience recommended, including but not limited to, loss mitigation with emphasis on Default Management and Investor Reporting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer-facing communication experience

Ability to draw significant conclusions by analyzing large amount of data and recommend policy, procedural or technology changes

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $90,000 - $136,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
