Position

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our Clinical Operations team as an Associate Director of Supplier Relationship Management & Performance. This pivotal role will entail leading Clinical Strategic Sourcing activities and Vendor Management for clinical services. You will be responsibility for spearheading the development of sourcing strategies for clinical services, negotiation of optimal business and commercial contractual terms, overseeing vendor relationships and governance and fostering collaborative external partnerships. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services critical to our Clinical development efforts.

What you’ll do

Develop and implement supplier relationship strategies to optimize performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness across our Clinical Services supplier network.

Lead Clinical Services supplier selection, qualification, and contract negotiation processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers, fostering collaborative relationships that drive mutual success and innovation.

Monitor supplier performance against established metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Identify risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (such as Clinical Functions, Quality Assurance, and Legal) to align supplier strategies with organizational goals.

Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track supplier performance and present actionable insights to senior management.

Qualifications

Post Graduate degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in a field such as Life Sciences, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of GxP regulations and quality management systems applicable to supplier oversight.

Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and implementing process improvements.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in data analysis and and supplier management tools.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience in leading cross-functional teams.

The expected salary range for this role is $165,000 to $180,500 depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
