The IT Team supports a variety of applications that are leasing, financial and employee needs related. The various applications are on platforms including Java/Oracle, AWS, Microsoft SQL Server/.NET, PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle BI and Salesforce. Now is an exciting time to be part of this team because of enhancements needed to many of our applications to support our business expansion efforts.

This is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities:

EFMIT has an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer - .NET (Engineer 2) that is responsible for designing and developing prototypes as well as performing complicated application coding and programming. This position interprets end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed applications. The Senior Software Engineer position also analyzes and reviews software requirements to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost restraints. In addition, this position performs unit and integration testing and assists with developing unit test scripts. The Senior Software Engineer position may provide instruction, guidance and mentoring to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Qualifications:

Required:

Must currently reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL (Saint Louis Metropolitan Area Only), IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WI

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Must have at least 3 years’ experience in .NET-based software development

Experience with the following technologies: C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, ADO.Net, Java Script, HTML, ASP.Net, SPA, JSON, jQuery, AngularJS, IIS, SQL Server, SSIS, VB Script, OOD/OOP

Proficient knowledge is also expected in object-oriented application development principles, theories, and concepts

Experience with unit testing

Experience with build scripts

Solid knowledge of relational database platform

Experience with the use of version control systems for code management

Experience with front end design and development

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications software

Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

Knowledge of the following technologies: MS Access, VBA, Excel, Cloud (AWS/Azure), MSTest, Jasmine, Karma, PowerShell, Python, Vue, and OBIEE

Experience with an Agile/Kanban/Scrum development process is a plus but not required.

Understanding of SOA is preferred

Experience with the Atlassian Toolset
