Responsibilities:
Assist senior leadership by taking on basic management responsibilities
Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
Develop creative menu items that align with the brand's standards
Plan, coordinate & execute special events & holiday functions
Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching & evaluating
Lead & coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service & employee satisfaction results
Monitor food production & quality daily
Experience Requirements:
Hotel/lodging experience preferred.
Comprehensive skills & knowledge of all kitchen operations
Experience with Banquets; high-quality, high-volume environments
Strong leadership, communication, organization & relationship skills
Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service
Proficiency in general computer use
A genuine desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment
Education Requirements: Culinary education or on-the-job training;
Benefits: Medical/Dental after 30 Days of Service; 401K Match after 1 Year (up to 4% Salary).
Employment Type: Full Time, Salary; typically, 5 days on, 2 days off.
