Job Details

SUMMARY:

As our Quality Technician you will manager your own 1 of 4 Value Streams in an auto diecast manufacturing environment.

MUST HAVES:

Program CMM in PC-DMIS

PPAP

Blueprints / GD&T

Excel

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform first piece part approvals.

Identify the customer products.

Create instructions for any new product.

Advise of any updates or work instructions changes.

Work and train operators to identify quality issues as well as how to use gauges and any other type of measurement instruments.

Implement and maintain updated measurement instruments and all types of gauges used within the Value Stream.

Work together with the team members to facilitate and help with any quality issues.

Implement inspection practices, it will be critical for the maintenance of all quality records.

Participate in answer corrective actions (SCAR)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

5+ Years of professional Quality Tech experience.

Experience with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, (procedural improvement) with customer requirements.

Experienced CMM programming using PC-DMIS,

Experience reading and understanding Blueprints GD&T

Experience using measuring instruments.
