The Company

Our client is a specialized aerospace parts supplier. They focus on filter products for air, oil, fuel, pneumatic, and other types of systems. All of their products are subject to FAA quality standards. Their customers are some of the major airlines including United, Southwest, UPS, FedEx and others.

The Job

Our client is looking for a Quality Director that will be responsible for developing and leading quality assurance programs. They will ensure these programs comply with FAA PMA guidelines and regulatory standards according to Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). They will also be responsible for overseeing quality control procedures and processes, conducting audits, and working on new PMA packages to submit to the FAA.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the aircraft industry

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace, engineering or a related field

Excellent knowledge of quality assurance principles, FAA PMA regulations, and industry standards

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement

Excellent communication skills, a detailed and organized individual with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
