Role: Sr Finance Manager – R&D Finance

Location: San Jose, CA

Position Description:

Actively manage SSG’s (Silicon Solution Group) full P&L including revenue, expenses, and margin.

Collaborate with BU leadership team, marketing, and sales to manage revenue and expense planning, forecast and reporting.

Facilitate BU resource planning priorities for AOP and strategic 3-5yr P&L targets & investment requests.

Stay on top of all SSG bookings and actively work with revenue accounting for any revenue recognition related issues. Maintain detailed revenue forecast model.

Perform analysis to provide key financial insights for management team.

Support SSG M&A and investment requests

Support quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by internal and external auditors including SOX 404 requirements.

Finance support for other cross functional needs; Tax, Corp Accounting, Legal, OM, OA, Product Reporting, Sales Ops etc.

Proactively look for opportunities to improve control and processes and to automate.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience. CPA and/or MBA a plus.

Prior experience in a technology company

Advanced Excel skills to develop and manage various financial models.

High degree of ethics and attention to details.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skill and ability to build strong working relationships with cross functional teams.

Ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.

Public accounting experience or experience working in a publicly traded company is strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of revenue accounting and ASC 606 is preferred.

The annual salary range for California is $137,200 to $254,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
