One of our fantastic client companies is seeking an exceptional Senior Manager of their IT Mainframe and Operations to join their organization. This role involves overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of mainframe systems and associated infrastructure. You’ll be leading a competent team of professionals to ensure the high performance and security of our mainframe systems and also develop long-term strategies to optimize operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee operation, maintenance, and administration of mainframe systems.

Lead a team of mainframe system programmers, operators, and analysts.

Oversee the design and maintenance of mainframe infrastructure.

Implement security policies to protect mainframe systems and data.

Lead strategic planning and capacity planning.

Coordinate responses to mainframe-related incidents.

Manage changes to mainframe systems and infrastructure.

Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors.

Identify opportunities for process improvements in mainframe operations.

Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience in mainframe administration or related roles.

Familiarity with mainframe hardware, operating systems, and software.

Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving skills.

Criminal and credit background check is required.
