Electrical Engineer

The successful candidate will be part of our engineering team and work on diverse projects located throughout the country and The Bahamas. You will be responsible for taking a design from start to finish, as well as providing further information and clarity to Contractors who may need assistance with understanding design intent. Enter the strong written and verbal communication skills... working with Ownership, Developers, Contractors, Architects, Interior Designers and Equipment Representatives are core to this position. Our current project exposure varies; Office and Retail Tenant Improvement, High-End Residential, Restaurants, Multi-Family, RV/Automotive Dealerships, Trucking Logistic Centers.

Responsibilities

Design work in REVIT and AutoCad.

Working in a team environment.

Demand load calculations, Fault current calculations.

Circuiting design for Mechanical HVAC equipment and Plumbing, Fire Protection pumps.

Schematic level Fire Alarm Design.

Energy Code Compliance calculations for lighting design.

Construction Administration consisting of responding to RFIs and Shop Drawing Review.

Field Surveys with Observation Reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Strong problem solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication.

10+ years of relevant experience. PE preferred.

REVIT and AutoCad proficiency.

ComCheck Energy software proficiency.

Fundamental knowledge and understanding of Mechanical HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Solar Photovoltaic systems.
