Purchasing Manager

A growing print and packaging company located in the western suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Purchasing Manager with a proven track record of supporting a growing, fast-paced organization.

This position will manage the purchasing department, develop and execute a plan to support the organization's purchasing needs.

Key duties include:

- Leading all aspects of supply chain

- Working with new and current suppliers in maintaining relationships

- Sourcing new Suppliers and Negotiating with suppliers to gain best terms

- Developing and implementing a supplier scorecard to ensure best price and quality

- Visiting key suppliers to ensure compliance with our objectives

- Working with leadership to meet KPIs on cost savings and supplier expansion / reduction

Requirements include:

3+ years' experience in sourcing and negotiations

Proven track record of cost savings

ERP experience (MS Dynamics is a plus)

Packaging experience is a plus
