Testing Consultant, Financial Services

BIP.Monticello’s Financial Services practice area has helped our clients embrace uncertainty and drive innovation in capital markets and commercial banking for more than 19 years. To assist our clients with the next wave of change initiatives, we are seeking Testing Consultant resources who have experience working on banking (or similar) projects at leading financial institutions. Our team of consultants will assess the current state, identify and remediate issues, and advise on strategic changes to improve the business.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of project experience in the financial services industry at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Sapient, etc.), global investment bank, or Fortune 500 company.

3+ years of Management Consulting or Project Management experience as a QA Engineer, QA Analyst, Mainframe Tester.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced challenging client focused environment where priorities and scope may change quickly.

Prior experience in working on Mainframe systems.

Experience in Mainframe Job set ups, Execution, Debugging, Test data creation using File-Aid, Data validation on DB2, Mainframe job submission from OPCT and checking Error queues.

Experience in System Testing including Functional, Regression, Integration Testing of Client/Server and Web based Applications.

Experience in E2E Integrated Testing.

Experience with Project Management, Agile Methodology, and understanding of the full project lifecycle (SDLC) with financial services clients.

Ability to write user stories, test plans, test cases, execute those, open and manage defect life cycle.

Knowledge of Zephyr and Jira tools.

Ability to coordinate work with remote teams.

Payments Domain experience.

Knowledge of Check processing & Clearing process in the financial system is a plus.

Knowledge of automation functional & regression testing tools

**The base salary range for this role is $65,000-$95,000**
