Position: System Administrator (O365 & VMware)
Location: Redmond, WA/Santa Clara, CA(Hybrid)

Role Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Sr. Mgr. Information Technology, the System Administrator is responsible for administration and management of VMWare environments (on premise, small size), and O365 applications/services such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune supporting client’s users in Redmond, WA and Santa Clara, CA offices. This individual is a single point of contact for all VMware and O365 related issues and is responsible for identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues. As a liaison with multiple technical teams, this role is critical in providing accurate technical and functional feedback and soliciting input from the end user community to ensure continuous improvements.
Qualifications (Skills & Experiences & Education)
Years of Relevant Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supporting/administering VMware, Windows, Linux, O365
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing small to mid-size VMware environments
Education
Required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Specialized Skills:
Required
Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration
Experience in O365 Administration
Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts, such as VLANs, routing, and firewalls
Experience in applying and maintaining security best practices in hybrid environment
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Keeping technical documentation up-to-date and knowledge sharing
