Renewable Energy Attorney Associate

A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm and one of my favorite clients is looking to add a Renewable Energy Associate to join its nationally recognized practice (one of the best groups in this space nationally).

The ideal candidate will have:

3-8 years of experience in a law firm (more senior candidates interested in non-track Counsel roles will also be considered)

Experience advising relating to renewable energy transactions, specifically with tax credit transactions, tax credit transfers, tax equity financings, and tax opinion letters

Excellent academic credentials (JD); LLM in tax a bonus

This group provides a wide range of legal and financial assistance for a variety of business and high-net-worth clients, representing individuals, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and other business entities in tax audits at federal, state and local government levels. This is an opportunity for someone with good experience in the renewable energy sector (especially electric) to not only help support the group, but also help to grow the practice and the platform, with an excellent runway for partnership.

This position is open to ANY city where the firm has an office, although the first choice is Houston.
