The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an academic Clinical Microbiologist at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor for early to mid-career professional. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience. The applicant must have an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD, and BE/BC by the American Board of Pathology and/or American Board of Medical Microbiology. If appropriate, the candidate must be eligible for a Texas medical license. In addition to patient care activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program.
