Cannon General Contractors, Inc. is seeking a dedicated, organized, and efficient assistant to our project manager in the Excavation Division. In this role, you will work closely with the project manager to complete the day-to-day tasks involved in planning and implementing a project, such as coordinating with vendors, monitoring budget spending and collaborating with other departments to accomplish the projects goals, tasks, and requirements.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implemental of projects
Assist in gathering bids
Track job costs
Monitor job schedules
Conduct admin duties, such as setting up meetings, creating invoices, ect.
Track and report project progress
Requirements
A good knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel (or Open Office Cal)
A strong written and oral communication skills
The ability to work under pressure
Problem-solving skills
Willingness to adapt to several different situations
