Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Business Intelligence Entity Specialist IV, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Business Intelligence Entity Specialist IV, you will:

•Collaborate directly with hospital executives to gather data from various sources, developing and maintaining an ETL process to facilitate the integration of data into the enterprise data warehouse, adhering to the organization’s data governance framework.

•Develop and maintain informative and actionable data visualizations and reports for analysis, problem-solving, and business solutions that highlight relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.

•Develop and support of routine and ad hoc data load processes through database refreshes and updates, optimizing the data integration platform for optimal performance under increasing data volumes.

•Collect detailed business analytics requirements from stakeholders and develop standardized functional requirement documents.

•Provide actionable insights, opportunities, and recommendations to enhance hospital operations, patient experience, and financial sustainability, aligning with the strategic plan.

•Utilize predictive modeling techniques to forecast patient volumes, resource demand, and financial trends for resource allocation and capacity-based planning.

•Monitor, report, and present hospital performance metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas requiring immediate attention.

•Create and distribute standardized performance reports to key stakeholders.

•Monitor the accuracy of reports and dashboards and resolve issues as needed

•Support quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data to identify opportunities for enhancing quality patient care and safety.

•Support clinical teams as they implement evidence based and data driven best practices.

•Compliance and Privacy:

•Ensure all data handling and analytics activities comply with relevant healthcare regulations and maintain patient data confidentiality.

•Training and Education:

•Provide training to hospital staff on data interpretation and the use of analytical tools.

•Stay current with healthcare industry trends, evidence based best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics.

Qualifications include:

•Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, data science, business analytics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

•10+ years’ experience in ETL development, data transformations, and data visualization development in a health care environment

•7+ years’ experience working with large scale data warehouses and related technologies such as Snowflake and Microsoft SQL server.

•5+ years’ experience gathering functional healthcare related requirements.

•3+ years’ experience in Power BI data visualization tool and Talend ETL tool

•3+ years of experience in Cerner data transformation and reporting toolkit (i.e. CCL scripting, Cerner Data Warehouse, etc.)

•3+ years’ experience interacting with C suite Level Executives.

•Cloud-Data Warehouse, ETL, and Data Visualization certification required.

Monday - Friday, Onsite
