About This Position

Paid Internship

Part Time: 2-5 hours a day with a max of 10-15 hours a week

Working Days/Hours: Flexible as long as it's between 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday

**Must be available to work in office at least 2 days a week**

** Must live in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area**

We are seeking an Accounting Intern on a part-time basis to join our team in St. Louis. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable accounting experience and work along-side experienced Accounting and Finance professionals in a collaborative and fun work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with various Accounting and Accounts Payable processes and duties including:

Assist with scanning and organization of invoices and other accounts payable supporting documentation

Assist with processing payments

Assist with managing the corporate travel credit card program

Assist with year end audit and other audit requests.

Assist with running various accounting reports and other analysis.

Assist with ad hoc requests from Controller, Accounting Director, and Accounts Payable Manager or other employees

Assist with other accounts payable projects or other accounting duties as assigned

What You'll Need

Sophomore or Junior College Student attending a school in the St. Louis metropolitan area with long term goal of obtaining Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Good attention to detail with strong mathematical skills

Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks

Highly reliable and punctual

Preferences:

Completion of one or more accounting, finance or general business classes preferred

Experience working on business projects (School or Corporate) preferred

GPA of 3.0 or higher
