Allegiance Staffing Greensboro is seeking for a Maintenance Technician for the Greensboro area:

Positions details:

Pay Rate- $25 to $27 per hour DOE

Temp to Hire Opportunity

Greensboro, NC

Schedule:

8 Hours shift

1st 6:30am- 3:30pm

Monday through Friday

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician position:

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines

Start each shift by performing a walk-through of the entire plant to check on equipment and check in with operators regarding any problems they might have

Communicate parts inventory to manager as it is depleted

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments

Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities

Perform a variety of plumbing and carpentry functions

Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties

Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

Perform other tasks or projects as assigned

Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times and notify management of violations of these policies

Experience for the Maintenance Technician position:

Requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED

Applicants should have minimum 2 years experience with welding, plumbing, basic electrical (low voltage to 480 VAC, single and 3 phase), and machine repair

Must be detail oriented, ability to multi-task and have excellent follow-up skills

Self-motivational personality with exceptional attendance and punctuality

Ability to perform job duties with a sense of urgency

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
