$1,500 sign-on bonus with 2-year work commitment
Direct Hire as an employee of the Company
Variable shifts: daylight, afternoon, night shifts which will rotate, including weekends and holidays
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour as new employee (performance pay raises available, after hire)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication skills and excellent customer service skills required
1 year experience in safety and/or security required
Security Officers hired without a valid Act 235 must complete certification within first 6 months of hire

Responsibilities:
Conduct searches per department policies
Provide excellent customer service, maintain paperwork and property appropriately
Maintain a safe environment
Provide relief coverage for safety clerks and parking lot attendants as assigned by Managers
Conduct proactive, continuous safety, security and fire safety patrols throughout the facility and parking areas
Document and report any unsafe conditions and/or security violations
Provide assistance to clinical staff in the care and safety of patients, staff or visitors
Perform assignments as directed by Manager, to include a daily review of e-mail, and any other required communications.
Administer assistance during fires, medical emergencies or disaster drills or any other crisis type situations
Work closely with appropriate law enforcement, fire and medical authorities when necessary
Perform professionally per accepted standards to include proper dress, radio communication, and show a service excellence work ethic with patients, staff, and visitors
Prepare and complete all mandatory and recommended training programs as per departmental guidelines
Provide escort service for patients, staff, and visitors
Initiate and investigate any reports of theft, suspicious activity, vandalism, personnel safety, patient related issues, and any other areas considered to be of importance in the day-to-day operation
Conduct tests of various alarm systems, equipment, etc. to include fire extinguishers, security alarms, fire alarm system, and others as assigned by Manager(s)
