Senior Buyer

The Senior Buyer is responsible for sourcing,purchasing,and negotiating materials, goods and services on behalf of the company.

Responsible for managing vendor relationships.

Responsible for negotiating contracts with clients.

Ensure timely delivery of quality products at the best possible price.

Leading a team of buyers and collaborating with other departments.

Must have very strong relationships with industry suppliers.

Must be able to put deals together for the benefit of the company.

Must have good knowledge of promotions.

Must be able to do buying for construction projects.

Must be goal and result orientated, self-motivated and positive.

Must be aware of changes, movements and developments in the industry.

Must be fully computer literate.

Must be able to work independently and assess the buying needs of the different branches and of the company as a whole.

Must be able to easily adapt to pricing and supplier variations.
