EMT or Paramedic

Shift/Status: Full time, 3:00 pm - 11 pm, every other weekend

Current Drivers License

Job Summary

The EMT is responsible to assist the Director of Clinical Services in monitoring the level of care and general wellness of John Knox Village residents.

This includes but is not limited to observation of the resident, reporting and recording facts about the residents medical condition, coordination of services, and emergency response.

The emergency response includes basic first aid, vital sign monitoring, and triage.

The Resident EMT is responsible for monitoring the level of care and general wellness of John Knox Village residents. This includes but is not limited to observation of the resident, recording and reporting facts about the residents medical condition, coordination of services, and carrying out triage procedures and techniques.

Be currently licensed as an EMT/Paramedic in the state of Florida

Minimum of one year of experience as an EMT/Paramedic

Independent thinking, good assessment, and communication skills

Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity that may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing

Ability to work in a variety of home environments

Qualifications

Minimum of 1-year experience as an EMT/Paramedic with a valid license

BLS required

Fluent with computer use
