The UK&I division people team works to supercharge its brands by attracting, nurturing and growing the brilliant people who power its market leading propositions. A strategic partner to the UK&I brands that truly works at the heart of the business, the people team delivers the overarching people strategy that allows local brand cultures to flourish whilst aspiring to a common, shared experience for all UK&I people wherever they are and whatever they do.

You’ll be responsible for planning and implementing early careers development activity across our brand portfolio to ensure we’re developing high-performing, impactful talent with key skills, designed to secure a pipeline of diverse graduate and early career talent and supply key capabilities that our businesses need to succeed in the future. You’ll be responsible for managing these critical programmes at the UK&I level.

What you’ll do

Working in partnership with People Partners and business leaders identify future talent needs and career pathways for early career talent.

Design and implement early careers approach and programmes/initiatives with the aim of raising the bar on early career capability and a pipeline of talent with critical skills across brands and CoEs.

Work collaboratively with People Partners and business leaders to identify stretching roles and opportunities for early careers candidates and align the right individuals to the right roles.

Identify capability needs from the perspective of the business and ensure the early careers programmes are aligned to delivering on those needs.

Design, develop and implement a UK&I induction that gives people in early careers roles a broad understanding of the entire group as well as an appreciation for the unique identities of the brands and CoEs.

Coordinating the activities of all stakeholders involved in early career programmes including talent acquisition and learning.

How you’ll do it

Track record in talent development with a passion for working in early careers.

Experience in performance management and coaching others.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to prepare and present reports to senior leaders.

Strong communication, contracting and negotiation skills and a good ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills with business-oriented and results focused thinking.

Experience of working at speed in an entrepreneurial culture.
