Overview:

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely coordination, scheduling of all short-term line maintenance items, including Cargo Loading System Maintenance, and for the efficient management of available aircraft ground times. This position acts as a liaison between Maintenance Control; Maintenance Planning; Engineering; Operations; and vendors, to facilitate planned line maintenance events.

Responsibilities:

Generating daily reports on Atlas System Overnight performance, Delays and Incidents as well as other reports as directed by the Manager, Maintenance Control and/or the Director of Maintenance

Arranging ground time availability with Flight Scheduling to implement the appropriate required repairs and/ or re-route to a maintenance location

Prioritizing the Daily Workload for each aircraft with detailed work scope with various Line Stations or Maintenance Vendors

Generating the 3-day Workload Plan for all scheduled Deferred Maintenance Items

Assigning necessary personnel for the engine/ aircraft repair beyond the capabilities of the Maintenance Vendors

Identifying problem areas that require corrective action, through technical interaction with Maintenance Control, Technical Support, Engineering and Maintenance Vendors.

Scheduling and tracking of all Action Plans, ECMs and EOs for the operation

Scheduling of special request line maintenance items, non-routines and component verifications

Reviewing deferred maintenance items with Maintenance Control for operational impact

Coordinating with Materials Dept. for parts requirements and follow-up on planned movements

Managing the necessary requirements for planned aircraft maintenance layovers.

Managing the Workload Planners and the Manager of Cargo Loading Systems Maintenance.

Oversee Cargo Loading Systems Maintenance processes and identify problematic areas and trends.

Training of new hires and mentoring direct-reports for improved performance

Formulates and implements procedures and best practices for the Workload Planning group

Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Sr. Director of Maintenance Control and Training.

Qualifications:

BA degree or equivalent experience

7 to 9 years of airline experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Capable of reviewing and understanding aircraft technical documents and publications, such as, but not limited to Engineering Orders, Maintenance Programs task cards and aircraft manuals.

Salary Range: $91,000- $123,000

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
