Oracle PL/SQL Developer (On-site)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical proficiency in PL/SQL and an ability to develop complex database solutions to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable PL/SQL code.

Work closely with other team members to implement database systems based on project requirements.

Optimise database systems for performance efficiency.

Debug and troubleshoot complex database issues.

Create and manage various database objects including cursors, packages, procedures, views, and more.

Document technical specifications and process workflows when required.

Requirements

Proven expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development with a solid understanding and practical experience, and will need to demonstrate knowledge, examples as follows:

Cursors and advanced data manipulation

Development and optimisation of packages, functions, and stored procedures

Implementation of loops, unions, and complex queries

Exception handling mechanisms

Creating and optimising views

Utilising PL/SQL control structures such as decode and case statements

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge and experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX) are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience with performance tuning and optimisation.
