About The Role:

We're currently seeking experienced Mid-Senior DevOps Engineers to join our team at STAFF X. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing the infrastructure and deployment processes of our clients' businesses. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. We're particularly interested in hearing from DevOps Engineers based in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions using modern DevOps practices and technologies.

Automate deployment processes, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.

Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software delivery pipeline, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth deployments.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimise system reliability, availability, and performance.

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Mentor junior team members, share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience (3+ years for mid-level, 5+ years for senior level) in DevOps or related roles.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

Proficiency in containerisation technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.

Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
