Job Description
We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver - Amazon Freight Partner to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). This position requires a Class A CDL.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
Properly track and document activity log
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
Inspect truck before and after trip
No touch freight

Regional roundtrip loads that start and finish in the same city. Home Every other night and home for 2 days to reset.
General Responsibilities:
Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road
Interact in a positive and a professional manner with general public while delivering products to locations.
*Overnight shifts are required*
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic
Commercial driver's license class A
Ability to safely maneuver drop and hook 53' trailers
Previous experience in driving class a truck with 53' trailers
Capable of using a GPS and apps for tracking trips and receiving loads (smartphone required)
Able to fill out and submit monthly maintenance forms and paperwork necessary to successfully deliver and bill loads
Class A – CDL Contract Truck Driver
CDL Truck Driver Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Have NO felony convictions, NO DUI’s/DWI’s
Have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
Minimum 2 years driving experience
Must be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English sufficiently to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Must have successfully completed a CMV road test and have been issued a valid certificate of completion
Good DAC Report
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
No current CDL suspension or revocation
Have required documents to complete the I-9 work form;
Clean Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) Report
Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years (this includes DWI’s, DUI’s and BAC’s)
Must be legally authorized to work in US and must be able to provide documentation.
