Hardscape Laborer

Job Description

This is a full-time year-round position with no winter layoffs. This position is primarily Monday-Friday 8-10 hour days April - October. Some weekends are required if there are rain-outs. Full-time winter hours vary depending on weather November - March.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

•BRL requires for this position a motivated individual with at least 2-years demonstrated hardscape installation experience

•Should have good knowledge of Hardscapes, working knowledge of equipment, clean-cut personality, and willing to work in a TEAM environment.

•General understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building and grounds trades

•Demonstrated time management skills including meeting timelines and project deadlines

•Demonstrated organization and multi-taking skills

•Ability to demonstrate resiliency and flexibility; demonstrate a positive attitude and work ethic

•Ability to communicate with various stakeholders (clients, coworkers, management) including effective written, verbal and listening skills; must be able to follow directions.

•Ability to problem solve and think creatively

•Ability to read and comprehend general instructions, including the ability to read, write and understand English

•Must be able to complete tasks expressed in the job description and be willing to participate in other activities as deemed necessary by BRL. Every BRL employee will be required to be cross trained in other job duties to cover temporary vacancies (snow removal, lawn maintenance, facilities maintenance)

• Must have reliable transportation

• Class D License – Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped)

• Have at least 2 or 3 good previous employment or character references

• Have good attendance record and be on time for workCompany Description
