Construction Surveyor

Job Description

Salary: $60k - $75k DOE

We are now hiring an experienced surveyor to work with our field crews to provide an error-free layout based on the coordinates and elevations shown in the contract documents. The experienced individual must possess extensive knowledge of engineering instruments such as a total station, an automatic level, and laser pipe levels. Must be able to lay out flatwork, underground utilities, as well as vertical structures. The candidate must have the following attributes:

Mathematical and analytical skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction surveying

Experience in reading construction drawings.

Knowledge of using Trimble Robotic Total Station surveying equipment

Knowledge of GPD of GIS

Create accurate maps and reports.

Must be familiar with surveying and CAD software.

Must be able to work in the field and perform layout daily.

Self-driven and organized.

Attention to detail.

Willing to take directions & suggestions from superiors.

Willing to work in a constantly changing environment.
