Mentor junior engineers.

Review reports & analyze overall monthly performance of all lamps to identify improvement areas & develop necessary improvement plans.

Work w/ junior engineers to ensure corrective actions for top issues are implemented.

Work w/New Model dev.

team to eliminate design defects.

Work w/depts.

to drive quality improvement Kaizen activity.

Prepare PQCT using FMEA, process design, line layout & FPMS, BOM, etc.

to assure that all potential failure modes are properly addressed in documents.

Investigate internal quality issues through quality analysis & use of basic quality information gathering techniques.

Communication liaison b/w internal & external groups re all quality issues, maintaining company’s production values & customer quality stds.

Establish, maintain, & track quality stds.

to ensure consistency while maintaining quality production.

Participate in process audits to address any specific issues.

Address customer & internal product concerns through documenting & communicating problem tracking activities & monthly performance reports.

Min.

req.

include: Bachelor’s degree in Mech., Chem., Ind., Elec., or Metallurgy Eng.

plus 4 yrs of exp incl.

4 yrs exp working in mfg.

env., 4 yrs exp in quality functions w/in automotive supplier industry, & 4 yrs working experience w/ quality tools (FMEA, PQCT, capability studies, & GD&T). Send resume to .
