Sanitation District Mechanics - Levels I/II

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) are currently hiring multiple mechanic positions.

Mechanics at SacSewer are responsible for performing simple to complex preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on a broad range of industrial sized equipment that include:

3000 hp multiple stage cryogenic air compressors

Centrifugal pumps up to 1,500 hp and 125 MGD

Low and medium sludge gas compressors

A variety of valves that range up to 10 feet in diameter

Other mechanical equipment in the collection system and pump stations
