Manufacturing Project Engineer Job Duties:

* Develop manufacturing processes and create Work Instruction Packages

* Complete Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and all manufacturing readiness level (MRL) activities

* Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend/implement process improvements

* Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA)

* Perform process tryouts; evaluate process certification gaps and recommend actions plans to

achieve CPK values

* Design tools or fixtures, create tool notifications, and perform tool application studies

* Participate in lean manufacturing events to reduce costs and improve efficiency

* Act as manufacturing liaison for engineering team

Core Qualifications:

* AS or BS Degree in a STEM related field or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience

* One+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. Internship experiences will be considered

* Ability to learn and understand/interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

* Desire to develop skills in aerospace manufacturing and part processing

* Strong self project management and communication skills are required

* Skills with NX, Teamcenter and/or PPAP is highly desirable

* Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
