Eclipse Gaming is currently seeking a Senior Mathematicians to work on our current and future game line up. We are aggressively growing our product line and are in search of highly talented people that want to be part of a growing team and company. As a Senior Mathematician, you will be working with our development studio to develop a range of outstanding games for the Class II market. You will be interacting with fellow Mathematicians, Engineers, Artists, Game Designers, Producers, Data Analysts, and Marketing personnel on a daily basis to create the most engaging products in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create innovative math models that will be implemented into an internal gaming platform which align with the game design and our business strategy for the Class II market;

Design and develop math models that complement game features balancing base games and bonus rounds appropriately to give players an entertaining ride;

Work closely with game designers to ensure their overview of the game is aligned with the math model contained within the game;

Own all pay tables, document accordingly and test mathematical outcomes to assure quality and that accurate calculations are achieved;

Oversee the work of Junior Mathematicians and play test all games in development giving detailed verbal or written feedback;

Work with others to develop enhancements to game design, feature development, and platform improvements

Provide Math updates to Game Designers, Developers and others, and be prepared to show progress during game development meetings;

Stay up to date with game design trends with a specific focus on Class II casino games

Understand game design, playability, and user experience

Required Qualifications:

5-7 years of Math experience in a Casino gaming company

5-7 years of experience in C++ programming, C# programming, .NET framework with API programming

Guru level on Microsoft Excel

Familiarity with Unity

Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsible, dependable, and a quick learner

Strong ability to read and understand pre-existing code bases

Proven experience in designing game math models

Ability to innovate and develop new game math models and concepts

Demonstrate strong communication skills and flexibility where required

Expert in managing your objectives and delivering in line with the product roadmap

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile development

Experience working with version control systems such as GIT, SVN, etc.

Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Sharepoint

Class II Casino Gaming experience a plus
